Welcome! Thanks for your interest in the Hispanic Center for Theological Studies

CHET is an institution with a focus on ministerial formation seeking to assist those whose desire is to serve the Lord, the church and their communities. We are located in the geographic center of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, with many satellites located where sufficient interest and initiative is present to organize study groups. This allows us to serve people and communities throughout Southern California and beyond.

At CHET we believe that theological education and ministerial formation belong to all members of the community of God. Some of our students are pastors, others have just begun their pilgrimage of faith; some are professionals, others have little schooling; some come from historical churches, others belong to new charismatic and Pentecostal movements. Our students, like the educational and administrative staff, are men and women committed to serving Christ.
